Air pollution is a global phenomenon arising out of the unmanageable, unplanned and rapid development. The quality of air is dwindling day by day because of rising concentrations of several gases in the atmosphere. in the present investigation attempt have been made to study the Greenhouse Gas emissions such as Carbon dioxide ,Methane, Nitrous oxide , ambient air monitoring including SO2, NO2, P.M 2.5, Air pollution Tolerance index and Anticipated Performance Index in Nandesari industrial area, Gujarat- in-situ , in four sites along with control for the development and planning for the Green Belt development .The most efficient greenbelt development not only abates/ diminish pollution, but also helps in prevent soil erosion, increase underground water levels, control rainwater runoff, helps in increasing biodiversity index, reduce pollution cost-effectively and may more.F. benghalensis L ranked first as an Excellent Performer followed by F. religiosa L. , P. longifolia Sonn tree species expected as Good performer, while M. champaca L, A. cordifolia Roxb., C. simea Lamk. plant can be recommended for plantation in Green belt of the Industrial Area, Baroda, Western India.
