The constructed surfaces and lines in Roman Lang's paintings (b. Neumarkt i. d. Oberpfalz, Germany, 1976; lives and works in Düsseldorf) yield a potentiated structured chaos. Suprematist tendencies are pervasive in his paintings. Lang's painting transports you straight to a neo-constructivist 1980s party where Kazimir Malevich and El Lissitzky play the classic arcade game Tron on a flat-screen monitor set on its side. With an essay by Amely Deiss.
